Savory Chickpea Breakfast Bowl
Who says hot cereal has to be sweet? This savory ChiChi bowl is creamy, satisfying, and packed with protein—topped with sautéed veggies and a runny egg for the ultimate savory breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Original ChiChi
- ~1 cup broth (you can also use milk or water)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, cook ChiChi with broth over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Season with salt and pepper and cook until thick and creamy (about 5–7 minutes). Add more milk if needed.
- While ChiChi cooks, sauté spinach until wilted and mushrooms until golden in a little butter or oil.
- Fry one sunny-side up egg.
- Serve ChiChi in a bowl and top with spinach, mushrooms, and the egg.
- Break the yolk and enjoy!
