Matcha Chia ChiChi
Creamy, energizing, and full of good-for-you ingredients — this matcha chia ChiChi is the perfect balance of cozy and refreshing. It’s lightly sweet, packed with protein and fiber, and a fun twist on your usual morning matcha.
Ingredients
- ½ cup Maple ChiChi
- 1 cup coconut milk (or any milk you like)
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 2 tbsp hot water
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- Optional toppings: microwaved frozen berries, drizzle of maple syrup, or shredded coconut
Instructions
- Prepare the matcha mixture.
- In a small bowl, whisk matcha powder with hot water until smooth and frothy. This helps it blend evenly later (no clumps!).
- Cook the ChiChi.
- In a small pot over medium heat, combine the coconut milk and Maple ChiChi. Wait until the mixture is bubbling, then stir continuously for 4-6 minutes until thick and creamy.
- Add the matcha and chia.
- Once the mixture starts to thicken, stir in the matcha mixture and chia seeds. Cook for another 1–2 minutes, letting the chia seeds start to absorb liquid.
- Serve and top.
- Pour into a bowl, then top with microwaved frozen berries for a sweet, tart contrast. Add a drizzle of maple syrup if you want extra sweetness.
Optional toppings
- Microwaved frozen berries, drizzle of maple syrup, or shredded coconut
💚 Notes
The coconut milk gives this an extra-rich texture, but any milk works great — almond, oat, or dairy. The chia seeds add extra fiber and a subtle crunch that pairs perfectly with the creamy matcha base.
