Protein Banana Waffles


These come together in under 10 minutes and the batter is basically just cooked ChiChi plus a few pantry staples. Crispy outside, soft inside, and way more filling than a regular waffle.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup plain ChiChi
  • 1 cup milk of choice (almond works great)
  • ½ banana
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Dash of vanilla
  • Maple syrup to finish

Instructions

  1. Combine ChiChi and milk and microwave for 2 minutes.
  2. Mash in the banana and stir in the egg.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla and mix until combined.
  4. Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto a preheated waffle iron and cook for 3 minutes.
  5. Drizzle with maple syrup and serve immediately.
