Protein Banana Waffles
These come together in under 10 minutes and the batter is basically just cooked ChiChi plus a few pantry staples. Crispy outside, soft inside, and way more filling than a regular waffle.
Ingredients
- ½ cup plain ChiChi
- 1 cup milk of choice (almond works great)
- ½ banana
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp flour
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Dash of vanilla
- Maple syrup to finish
Instructions
- Combine ChiChi and milk and microwave for 2 minutes.
- Mash in the banana and stir in the egg.
- Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla and mix until combined.
- Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto a preheated waffle iron and cook for 3 minutes.
- Drizzle with maple syrup and serve immediately.
