Dirty Chai ChiChi
Fall mornings call for something warm, a little spiced, and strong enough to get you out the door. This dirty chai porridge is your favorite café order in a bowl: chai-steeped almond milk, creamy ChiChi Brown Sugar, and a shot of espresso poured right over the top. It comes together in one pot in about 10 minutes, and because it starts with ChiChi, every bowl brings 10g+ of protein and 6g of fiber from whole chickpeas. No oats, no grains, no mid-morning crash. Just a cozy breakfast that actually keeps you going.
Ingredients
- ½ cup ChiChi Brown Sugar
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 to 2 chai tea bags
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Steep the chai. In a pot, bring the almond milk and chai tea bags to a gentle simmer. Let the tea steep until the milk takes on a rich chai color.
- Add the ChiChi. Remove the tea bags and stir in the ChiChi Brown Sugar and a pinch of salt.
- Cook until creamy. Keep cooking over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the porridge thickens and turns creamy.
- Make it dirty. Transfer to a bowl and pour the espresso over the top.
- Top it off. Add a spoonful of vanilla Greek yogurt and finish with a dash of cinnamon.
- Dig in and enjoy your warm, creamy dirty chai porridge!
