Bakery-style protein cookies
Thin, chewy centers. Crispy golden edges. And a protein boost from the last ingredient you'd expect. We swapped half a cup of flour for ChiChi hot cereal — and these might be our new favorite cookies.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1¼ cups brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup ChiChi hot cereal (half Original, half Dark Chocolate)
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- ¾ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugars until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Fold in dry ingredients — don't overmix.
- Roll into golf ball-size dough balls and chill for 10 minutes.
- Bake at 385°F for 8–10 minutes, until edges are golden and crisp.
