5 ingredient pop tart


Craving a nostalgic treat without the sugar crash? These healthy pop tarts are just what you need—wholesome, delicious, and made with only a handful of ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Original ChiChi
  • 1/8 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp chia jam (@chiasmash works perfectly!)
  • Optional Topping

Instructions

  1. Make the dough: In a bowl, mix together ChiChi, baking powder, maple syrup, and melted coconut oil until a dough forms.
  2. Shape the pop tart: Divide the dough into two equal balls. Flatten each ball onto parchment paper into two small circles.
  3. Fill and seal: Add a dollop of chia jam to the center of one circle, then place the second circle on top. Use a fork to seal the edges.
  4. Prep for baking: Brush the top with milk for a golden finish (optional).
  5. Top it off: Mix pitaya powder with yogurt and spread it over the cooled pop tart for a colorful and creamy topping.
  6. Bake: Place on a lined baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden.

Toppings

  • 1/2 tsp pitaya powder
  • 1–2 tbsp yogurt
